Richard Austin - Director, Treadwell Gordon

Richard Austin

Director

In one word “Connected”

Richard is Whanganui born and bred.  He has been with Treadwell Gordon since 1986. He is a trusted advisor for a wide range of rural, commercial and private clients. Richard has been instrumental in the growth and direction of Treadwell Gordon.

During his career Richard has  encountered the full range of legal issues and is able to advise on everything from company restructuring, to asset planning and police prosecutions. Richard has many networks, and offers opportunities for clients to go beyond day-to-day lawyering.

Richard and his wife Rosie enjoy a rural lifestyle. They have a few sheep and cattle. They also grow, and market, the best pears in the country!

Richard is full time in the firm….and hopes to be for a long time – although he admits the agricultural interests are taking up a few sunny afternoons!
