Pétra joined the team at Treadwell Gordon whilst in her final few months of study at the end of 2015. She is born and bred in Whanganui and after spending a year travelling overseas she returned to Victoria University of Wellington to study. Having a strong family connection and interest in the community is what drew her back to Whanganui to begin her career in a region that she is proud to be from.
Pétra is passionate about helping people solve problems and is dedicating to providing quality advice and work to all clients no matter how big or small the job is. She aims to become an all-round general practice lawyer and enjoys the diversity of work and ‘hands on’ approach a provincial law firm has to offer.
Having grown up in the country, Pétra hopes to one day own her own self-sustainable block of land – preferably out of reception.
Outside of work Pétra enjoys spending time off the grid camping, kayaking, hiking, fishing, horse riding and exploring what this beautiful country has to offer. She spends a good deal of time up the Whanganui River and is playing netball for Kaierau this winter season. Whatever spare time she has is spent reading, baking and with friends and family.
